2015 Ford Taurus | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner

August 11, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

The new 2015 Taurus remains the best option for drivers looking for a full-size sedan with excellent gas mileage, an attractive design and the latest technology.

2015 Ford Taurus at Lamarque Ford New Orleans

Design Features

The 2015 Taurus’ dynamic and elegant design makes it stand out from the competition. Its angular lines help the vehicle attain better fuel economy, as it improves its aerodynamics to cut through the air with ease. Also, the Taurus’ stance has been widened to allow for better handling and, coupled with the new steering system, hugs the curves of the most challenging roads.

The new Taurus features available HID headlamps, which provide excellent brightness and a more focused beam, extending the light’s reach. HID lamps are also more durable and and consume less energy than regular headlights. The rear of the Taurus is equipped with full LED tail lamps, which not only are brighter but add to the refined looks of the car.

Ford Taurus Performance

Ford is making three engines available for the 2015 Taurus, giving consumers plenty of choice. The base engine is a 3.5 V6 peaking at 288 hp, which provides enough power for a comfortable and exciting ride. Although the base model is a front-wheel drive, Ford offers an upgraded all-wheel drive (AWD), which significantly enhances driving dynamics and all-weather traction.

Next come the EcoBoost models, which have proven to be a success in the Ford lineup. The 2.0 EcoBoost is a four-cylinder turbo-charged engine, which delivers similar performance to the V6 while consuming less fuel. Unfortunately, the small EcoBoost cannot be upgraded to the AWD drive train. Still, the 2.0 packs 240 horsepower and includes a six-speed electronically-controlled SelectShift transmission.

The top-of-the-line engine is a V6 EcoBoost, which consists of a 3.5 liter cam and twin-turbocharged induction system. The result  is a significant performance gain in raw power and torque, peaking at 365 hp and 254 lb./ft. respectively. Thanks to its powerful nature, the V6 EcoBoost comes standard with all-wheel drive and paddle activated transmission, which is guaranteed to deliver the best driving experience.

The Latest Technology

The 2015 Taurus wouldn’t be complete without an industry leading in-car infotainment system. The available SYNC in the new Taurus combines voice-activated commands with MyFord Touch, Ford’s intuitive LCD system. With SYNC drivers can perform different tasks without taking their eyes off the road, including playing music stations, calling contacts paired with their phones, even read text messages! Also, Taurus customers can choose to add a navigation option to complement their tech  experience, which incorporates SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link for on the go alerts and weather forecasts.

In addition to the best center console companion, Taurus offers other exciting technologies built around the driver. The intelligent access with push-to-start button makes keys a thing of the past, as owners can simply unlock their car without even taking them out of their pockets. The 2015 Taurus incorporates safe driving tech like adaptive cruise control and collision warning, which help drivers be more alert when on the highway, and lane-keeping system, which applies steering torque to correct unintended lane departures.

In all, the 2015 Ford Taurus is a well-rounded full-size sedan that inspires trust and carries on Ford’s legacy of family safety and dependability. Take a look at our current Taurus selection and stay tuned for future updates.

Tips To Reduce Car Theft | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans, LA

August 7, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

There are several factors that determine the risk for car theft, including location, car brand/model, and deterrents. While many of us can’t move to a different city or wouldn’t trade our cars for less susceptible vehicles, there are measures we can take both to make our car more secure and to avoid risky situations. Below you’ll find tips to help you reduce the risk of car theft.

Lock Your Car

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 40% vehicle theft is due to driver error, which means either leaving the car unlocked or leaving its keys inside. Surprising? Yes, but it’s 100% preventable. Next time you step out of your car remember to make sure all the doors are locked, the engine is off, and the keys are with you.

Park Smart

Our vehicles are most vulnerable when left unattended, so it is important to take extra steps when parking at unfamiliar places. Always remember to hide valuables from plain sight and take your purse, bag, cell phone, and other items that might lure someone to break in. In addition, park your car in a well lit area with continuos pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Security Devices

Let’s face it, we’d rather not use these type of gadgets, but as car theft has become more prominent, drivers everywhere are trying to outsmart the bad guys. There are three main types of security devices:

  • Audible and visible devices. These are the most common and their main purpose is to discourage theft by flashing lights, emitting loud noises, and locking the wheel or brakes.
  • Immobilizing devices. These are usually hidden electronic systems that prevent thieves from starting your car. The most common ones are attached to your car’s electrical or fuel systems and can be engaged with the flip of a switch.
  • Recovery systems. If all deterring and security devices still don’t work, some people opt for recovery systems, which monitor your car’s location via GPS or an embedded chip. These are usually installed in the aftermarket, but a growing number of manufacturers are shipping vehicles with these pre-installed.

Additional Information

Car manufacturers have taken extra steps to prevent illegal contraband of car parts, and the NHTSA has put guidelines in place to address some of these problems. By etching your car’s serial number on different parts of your vehicle, like the engine, transmission, hood, and many others, illegal-parts sellers have a harder time finding buyers for them.

To find out more about vehicle theft go the the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration’s website.

Ford SYNC Features | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

August 4, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

For the last few years, Ford has developed smarter technologies that enhance driving, safety and comfort. Driven by research and Ford’s competitive spirit, the company has found ways to improve their vehicles in a a wide variety of ways. With connectivity systems like SYNC, AppLink, and MyFord Touch, Ford has made its technology available to millions. Let’s take a look at Ford’s center console solution that is connecting drivers everywhere.

Lamarque Ford New Orleans SYNC

What Is Ford SYNC?

SYNC is Ford’s proprietary in-car communications system that allows drivers to interact with their vehicle and a device in new ways. SYNC combines advanced voice commands and services like traffic into the following features:

  • Hands-free calling. Without taking their eyes off the road, drivers can simply press the talk button on their steering wheels and say the name of a contact in their phones to make a call.
  • Audible text messages. Ford SYNC can read incoming messages out loud, and will even give the driver an option to reply.
  • Voice-activated music. When SYNC is paired with a phone or media player, it can recognize music playing commands and the titles of your songs, albums, artists, even genres.
  • Vehicle health report. SYNC is also connected to the vehicle’s sensors and monitoring systems, and can generate an overall health report and notify the driver via email or text.
  • Traffic. Integrated GPS allows the system to constantly monitor traffic conditions and can even notify the owner of traffic updates via text message.
  • Directions. SYNC offers turn-by-turn directions integration, as well as a search database of more than 14 million businesses, which can be accessed via voice commands.
  • Information. Ford owners can customize their voice commands content to match their needs, choosing from different categories like weather by city, sports scores, and news.

In addition, Ford SYNC offers an optional in-car WiFi, which works by plugging in a USB broadband modem in the center console and sharing the signal throughout the vehicle. As opposed to the competitors’ dealership installed solutions, this system allows the owner to upgrade to faster/different modems of their choice without any further set-ups or installations.

SYNC AppLink

AppLink is at its core a tool for developers to extend the capabilities of their apps. This translates into apps that can be controlled through voice commands and the buttons on your Ford’s steering wheel, without ever taking attention off of driving. Devices running Android and Blackberry can be controlled via Bluetooth and Apple devices via the USB charger.

Ford Green and Energy Conservation Initiatives | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

July 30, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

In the past few years, The Ford Motor Company has focused on its sustainability strategy and its business plan to make the best vehicles in the planet while minimizing its effects on it. From reducing emissions by making Ford engines more efficient, to rethinking the way resources are used at factories, Ford’s green strategy is in full swing. There are five key components to Ford’s new sustainability strategy: Greening of Products, Greening of Operations, Confronting Climate Change, Reducing Water Use, and Protecting Human Rights.

Lamarque Ford New Orleans Ford Sustainability

Ford’s Green Products

Ford is “Greening their Products” by using technologies like turbo-chargers, direct injection of gasoline or diesel fuel, six-speed transmissions, and hybrid and plug-in hybrid power trains that deliver “power of choice” to drivers. Ford is using its low-consumption, high-power EcoBoost engines to ensure their vehicles conform these new guidelines. Even Ford’s workhorse, the celebrated F-150, has gained a new EcoBoost V6 engine that rival its V8 competition in terms of power, while reducing fuel consumption. Ford is also planning weight reduction in vehicles ranging from 250 to 750 pounds, which help the vehicle’s overall efficiency.

Ford’s Green Operations

Ford’s Green Operations include their Confronting Climate Change and Reducing Water Use strategies. The main focus here is to reduce overall waste and carbon emissions at production facilities, which Ford operates globally. For instance, Ford develops water saving strategies locally to address scarcity, ensuring a stable water supply at factories without creating a big impact in local communities. Ford is also committed to reducing CO2 emissions by 30 percent from 2010 to 2025 at factories.

Protecting Human Rights

As the first car manufacturer to recognize the importance of its most valuable resource, its workers, Ford has continuously addressed human rights, basic working conditions and corporate responsibility. Ford’s policy on human rights is a recognition to the contribution of its employees and has been devised after international treaties and frameworks, like the International Bill of Human Rights. The code addresses issues like child labor, fair compensation, forced labor, freedom of association, discrimination, health and safety, working hours, amongst many others.

Ford not only makes great vehicles, but is also aware of the global issues that come as a result of producing its products in mass. Contact Lamarque Ford today to be part of Ford’s sustainability strategy and drive a fuel efficient, socially responsibly manufactured vehicle.

Ford Safety Features | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

July 28, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

Ford has invested in a wide range of technologies to help protect drivers from the unexpected and to teach them drive safer. As part of the Go Further promise, Ford takes pride in being first to market these advancements to improve the automotive industry as a whole. Here’s a look at the initiatives Ford has implemented to grow our already safe line-up of vehicles.

Ford Safety New Orleans

Air Bags Reimagined

Ford is packing unprecedented power in the new 2015 Mustang, and with great power comes great responsibility. The new Mustang is not only the gutsier, but also the safest Mustang ever, as it introduces a new airbag technology that goes beyond the conventional paradigm . The new airbag restrain keeps the front passenger away from impact zones and it activates precisely when is needed. This new safety features props the glovebox open and allows for an inflatable plastic bladder to protect the knee area, expanding all the way to the side of the door to safely secure the passenger’s legs. Additionally, the 2015 Mustang uses eight airbags, twice as many as the previous model.

Inflatable Safety Belts

In everyday use, the new Ford safety belt acts and looks like a normal seat belt. However, when the crash system determines is the right time, the airbag inside the belt rapidly deploys, distributing the crash force across the occupant’s body up to five times more efficiently. After realizing this technology could be a game changer, Ford decided to open up and license inflatable safety belts to other companies, making the road safer for everyone.

Highest Safety Rating

Transit Connect, Ford’s commercial and fleet wagon, earned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s highest rating. For starters, the 2104 Transit Connect uses high-strength and ultrahigh-strength steels for its body structure, which make it more rigid and better prepared for collisions. The new model also includes front airbags for the main cabin and side curtain-style airbags for the rear passenger area. Transit Connect can also be equipped with Ford’s latest driver assist technology, which include a rear-view camera and front and rear sensing systems.

Virtual Crash Research

In March of 2014, Ford announced an increased investment in research technologies to obtain better data on crash testing. Although Ford has conducted physical crash tests since 1954, the technology doesn’t allow the flexibility and pace of change the company needs today. With this 50% increase in computing power, Ford can retrieve and analyze crash data faster, allowing them to conduct more tests and use it in its in-car technology like perpendicular parking, park-out assist, and SyncApp link.

2015 F-150 Engine Recap | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

July 25, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

Whether you need to transport your tools or tow your trailer, the 2015 Ford F-150 has a range of engine choices to meet your needs; now adding two new engines to their existing line-up.

Lamarque Ford New Orleans Ford f150 2015

One of the new configurations is the standard 3.5-liter V6 engine.  It has twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) that has incredible power to tow as much as 7,600 pounds, 1,910 pounds of payload, 283 horsepower, and 255 lb./ft. of torque.  However, the model that has everyone talking is the high-output 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, which is as powerful as a V8 engine. This new engine has standard Auto Start-Stop and delivers 325 horsepower and 327 lbs. of torque. The EcoBoost model has an incredible towing power of up to 8,500 pounds and delivers great efficiency thanks to its turbo-charged technology. Additionally, the 2015 F-150 uses high-strength steel and aluminum alloys that helps the truck shed over 700 pounds.  Thanks to its light weight, the power-to-weight ratio of the 2015 F-150 has been improved by 15 percent over the 2014 V8 model.

As we mentioned before, the 2015 F-150 EcoBoost comes equipped with Auto Start-Stop technology.  This innovative idea is designed specifically for Ford trucks, and it  helps boost fuel efficiency by turning off the engine when it is stopped.  When the brake is released, the engine automatically restarts.  This is also the first time Ford used a concentrated graphite iron cylinder block in their gasoline engine.  This is the same material used in Ford’s 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbo diesel V8 in super duty trucks and saves weight while providing reliable durability.

Compared to other trucks, testing shows that the Ford F-150 2.7-liter EcoBoost outperforms other vehicles’ engines such as the Ram 1500 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3-liter V8 when towing a 7,000 pound enclosed trailer up Davis Dam in Arizona.

So if you need more proof that F-150 is THE truck to own, stop by Lamarque Ford and test drive one today.

2015 Mustang Features Confirmed | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

July 18, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

We’ve been talking about the new 2015 Ford Mustang for a while, and although we knew what it looked like and all about the awesome features, the official numbers were just released last week. That’s right, The Ford Motor Company announced official engine configurations, EPA fuel efficiency ratings, engine enhancements, transmission upgrades and horsepower. To truly understand the new improvements we’ll look at the different engine configurations the 2015 Mustang has to offer.

2015 Mustang coming to Lamarque Ford of New Orleans

2015 Mustang Joins EcoBoost Family

The 2015  Ford Mustang is introducing the new 2.3 EcoBoost engine, a four cylinder beast that produces 310 horsepower and  320 lb. of torque. Ford engineers went incredible lengths to pack this much power in such a small package, as this new EcoBoost has the highest power density to date in any Ford. So what can we expect from a muscle car with a four cylinder engine? Let’s just say it blows its V6 sibling out of the water, with better numbers all around including fuel efficiency. Some may even think Ford is trying to kill the V6 version altogether, since an upgrade to the EcoBoost is a mere $1,570, or a difference of $32 per month over four years. So what are critics saying?

Ever since Ford announced there would be a four-cylinder Mustang, car writers around the world remained doubtful that such a vehicle could do any good to the nameplate. Let’s face it, muscle cars have always been about big engines, fast laps, and pleasantly loud exhausts. After proving it could build a smaller yet more capable engine, Ford’s final concern was to bring an exciting sound to the engine, so it fine tuned it to match that of bigger cars. So fear not, Mustang fans, your EcoBoost pony car will still have a gutsy exhaust sound.

Now that we’ve covered your concerns over flashy engine features like, you know, the way it sounds and how much power it produces, let’s get a bit more technical. What makes the 2015 EcoBoost Mustang engine so great? It’s all about the new materials and of course, the new turbo-charger. Here are the new engine enhancements:

  • Steel piston ring carriers
  • Premium bearings
  • Updated valves
  • Forged-steel connecting rods
  • High-pressure die-cast aluminum cylinder blocks
  • Deep-sump, die-cast aluminum oil pan
  • Forged-steel crankshaft
  • Piston-cooling jets

Mustang GT: New V8 Performance

Over the years, the Mustang team has experimented with exclusive street-racing models, like the legendary Shelby 500 and the Boss 302. Although these vehicles are equipped with performance upgrades that would be too costly for regular production cars, Ford has learned plenty from these efforts. The all-new 2015 Mustang GT sports a 5.0 liter V8 engine, and borrows the best technology from the 2012 Mustang Boss 302. To achieve its impressive 435 horsepower and 400 lb. of torque, the Mustang GT’s engine was redesigned to allow more air into the cylinders and intake. The revised engine takes advantage of the following features:

  • New valve system that allows them to close completely at high rpm
  • A redesigned combustion chamber that fits larger valves for less restriction in air flow
  • Lighter and more durable connecting rods
  • All-new deeper piston tops
  • Bigger intake and exhaust valves
  • Revised intake and exhaust camshafts

The 2015 Mustang GT gets all these upgrades plus a redesigned state of the art transmission. Whether you choose manual or automatic, you will experience better and smoother shifting than in any previous model. The manual gear-box gets improved precision thanks to its new linkage system and the shift lever’s new location closer to the driver. The new Mustang’s automatic transmission, available in both EcoBoost and GT, gains new steering wheel-mounted shift paddles to enhance the driving experience.

Ford is also producing a relatively updated version of the V6 engine, which generates 300 horsepower and is available on the 2015 Mustang base model. Although it is still a great car, Ford is betting the new Mustang strategy on the EcoBoost and GT engines. Contact your local Ford dealership to learn more about preorders and availability.

2015 Ford Fusion Features | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

July 15, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

Meet the 2015 Ford Fusion, Ford’s popular mid-size sedan that has taken the car market by storm. Since 2006, Ford Fusion has served as the manufacturer’s platform to showcase technological breakthroughs and innovation, and was awarded 2010 Motor Trend Car of The Year. For 2015, Ford Fusion comes equipped with exciting features and engine combinations, including two EcoBoost models and a plug-in Hybrid. Read below to learn more about Ford Fusion’s cutting edge technology.

Find the 2015 Ford Fusion at Lamarque Ford in New Orleans

2015 Ford Fusion Design

Since its full redesign in 2013, Ford Fusion joined the company’s global design language, which centers around a new bold, hexagonal front grille and a sleek new silhouette. The new grille helps improve the Fusion’s efficiency by acting as an active-shutter, which regulates the air intake and maintaining ideal operating temperature. The 2015 Fusion’s exterior is topped-off with the new projector laser-cut headlamps, which activate automatically when the ambient light decreases and can change modes as it becomes necessary.

The interior of the 2015 is all about the details. As part of the redesign, Ford is focusing on the experience and puts the driver’s needs front and center. The dashboard and main console now make MyFord Touch more prominent, and drivers can access their music collection and make calls with simple voice commands. Other features include updated  leather upholstery with power seats and available ambient lighting.

Ford Fusion Engine Options

The 2015 Ford Fusion offers five different engine configurations for all kinds of budgets. The entry level is a 2.5 liter four-cylinder Duratec engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission, offering 175 hp at 6,000 rpm. Next are the two EcoBoost options, both with direct injection and a six-speed transmission. Ford Fusion’s small EcoBoost engine delivers 181 horsepower and up to 37 mpg, which is an incredible feat for a 1.5 liter engine, turbo-charged nonetheless. The top-of-the-line EcoBoost, a 2 liter turbo-charged aluminum block engine, produces 240 horsepower and has an optional AWD drivetrain. This latter option brings additional stability and fuel efficiency as well as a key differentiator amongst competitors, as the Honda Accord or Toyota Camry do not offer AWD configurations.

Ford Fusion Hybrid joins the lineup in 2015, offering two identical engines engines with a rechargeable battery option available only with the Fusion Energi model. Both hybrid models top out at 141 horsepower and use Ford’s unique Electronic Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT), which provides better fuel economy, more available power, and smoother gear shifting. The 2015 Fusion Hybrid has an EPA estimated rating of 42 mpg and it’s almost doubled by the Fusion Energi model, which offers 88 mpg thanks to its added rechargeable capabilities.

2015 Fusion Tech Features

Ford is adding an impressive list of features to this year’s Fusion, as competition is moving forward in all fronts, particularly on this one. The following list includes features available as standard and optional on different Fusion models:

  • BLIS. Ford’s Blind Spot Information System, which alerts you of coming cross traffic you can’t see (driver assist package)
  • Lane-departure warning system that alerts and assists driver in case car begins to swerve (driver assist package)
  • Rain-sensing wipers (driver assist package)
  • Auto high beams (driver assist package)
  • Regenerative breaking, which recovers 90% of the energy used when stopping (Hybrid and Energi models)
  • Rear-view camera (all models)
  • Inflatable second-row safety belts. Ford claims these seat belts better distribute the impact force across the torso, minimizing the risk of injury (optional)
  • Active park assist, literally parks the vehicle for you when driving at slow speeds, as it looks and measures for an available spot (optional)
  • Push-button start comes optional and it’s an effortless way to start your Fusion

If you’re impressed by the new 2015 model or think you need to see it in person, stop by Lamarque Ford today to schedule a test drive and to find the best deal on a Ford Fusion in New Orleans.

Summer Safety Car Tips | Lamarque Ford | New Orleans

July 9, 2014 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

Every summer, distressing stories of children and pets left out in hot cars emerge, and we can’t help but wonder how to prevent them. In Southeast Louisiana, where temperatures can reach up to 110 degrees, this is of especial concern and we believe we can do a better job at teaching people what situations to avoid. According to Kids and Cars, more than 600 children have died this way in the U.S. since 1990. Here are some summer car tips to help reduce this number to zero.

Lamarque Ford offers tips on summer car safety

1. No exceptions. No matter how fast you’re coming back to your car, you should never leave your child or pet in your car unattended. Not only is it dangerous because of heat stroke, but think also about your kids safety.

2. Leave an item you always carry with you in the back seat, next to your child’s seat preferably. This way you’ll remember your child is still in the car before you walk away. Items can include cell phone, shoes, ID, handbag etc.

3. Make sure all children and pets have left the vehicle before you lock it. Temperatures inside a car can increase rapidly during the first half hour after it’s locked, and as much as 30 degrees hotter over a few hours. Heatstroke is a serious form of injury and should not be taken lightly.

4. Know what to keep in your car at all times. Cold water, ice pack, a first aid kit and even snacks like graham crackers and granola can make a difference. The fact is you never know when emergencies are going to happen and is better to be prepared.

5. If you see a child or pet left behind in a car, take action. Notify the authorities immediately by calling 911  and get them out of harms way if they look sick or are asking for help.

6. A good way to avoid dealing with heatstroke is to use drive through services, which are available for banks, restaurants, pharmacies and even some convenience stores.

While these steps will help you avoid situations where your child or pet could be left behind, is better to plan ahead and/or bring your kids with you to the store. The most important part is that you understand what occurs when a helpless child or pet is left at such hot temperatures. According to WebMD, heat stroke can occur when your body temperature reached 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Heatstroke symptoms to look out for include disorientation, agitation, confusion, dizziness and seizure.

At Lamarque Ford, we’re committed to help the local community and help increase heatstroke awareness. We hope you find these tips informative and talk to friends and family about the seriousness of this matter.

Ford Super Duty line of trucks have been the go-to tool for hard-working individuals for over 30 years. Now Ford goes the extra mile by adding new technologies and upgraded engines to its Super Duty line, which include the F-250, F-350 and F-450. A Powerful Engine Redesigned

The all-new 2015 Super Duty line includes an improved 6.7 liter Power Stroke engine that blows the competition away. Ford promises this V8 monster will deliver 860 pounds of torque and up to 440 horsepower, thanks to its upgraded technology. Part of the updates include a larger turbocharger and compressor vane, which deliver on-demand performance when more power is needed, thus improving fuel efficiency.  A new graphite iron engine block replaces the old cast iron one, giving way to improved strength and lighter weight.

In addition, the redesigned engine introduces new features to improve the Super Duty’s reliability. To ensure quick start-ups in all temperatures, Ford uses instant-start glow spark plugs, which reach operating temperatures in two seconds. The new Super Duty engine also uses aluminum cylinder heads with dual water jackets, which reduce the overheating associated with diesel engines.

Durability Features At Its Best

Ford Super Duty is built for continuous hard work, and engineers test the limits of the all-new engine under the toughest conditions for 250,000 miles. Just like Ford’s 2015 F-150, the foundation of the Super Duty’s toughness is its strong steel frame, which reinforces stress areas and improves flexibility. Also, as customers asked for a stronger bed, Ford is introducing Tough Bed, a unique factory-installed bed liner that resists scratching and improves durability. There’s nothing more rewarding than a dependable, reliable workhorse.

Towing Capabilities

The new line of super trucks is not only the most powerful and durable, is also the most capable. The 2015 Ford Super Duty achieves best-in-class maximum towing thanks to its available dual-rear-wheel 4×4, resulting in a towing capability of up to 31,200 pounds. Combine that with amazing technology like trailer sway control, hill assist and electronic-locking rear differential and you’ve got a top-of-the-line smart yet tough truck.

Productivity and Technology Features

So what good is to own the toughest truck out there without smarts? The 2015 Ford Super Duty has the latest technology and helps you be more productive while driving better. First, the Super Duty comes equipped with SYNC with MyFord Touch, which lets you make calls and access your entertainment system with simple voice commands. Second is the productivity screen, which provides information on fuel economy, towing performance and access all kinds of vehicle information such as oil temperature and off-road data.

As you can see, Ford is increasingly listening to its heavy-duty customers and brings features that extend the performance and durability of Super Duties, not to mention its position against competitors. Stop by Lamarque Ford today to look at our 2015 Super Duty inventory.
