The 2018 Ford Mustang

September 18, 2017 By Matthew Hritz Leave a Comment

Jay Leno, Patrick Dempsey, Funkmaster Flex, Bill Clinton, Charlie Sheen, Jim Morrison, Sam Hagar, and Bob Seger have something in common: They all have owned a Ford Mustang. Since it first exploded onto the American muscle car scene in the late 1960s, the Ford Mustang has been the best-selling sports car in the US. Now, the Ford Mustang holds the title for the best-selling sports car in the world. Ford has pushed for an international expansion of the vehicle, with 45,000 Mustangs sold outside the US in 2016. This expansion means that the Mustang is now sold in 140 countries and people around the world are enjoying all of the benefits and luxuries of this classic model.

2018 will be an extremely exciting year for Ford Mustang lovers everywhere. The 2018 Ford Mustang is getting its first major makeover since the new model was introduced in 2015. It features standard LED headlights and available LED fog lights, a lower hood with new vents, added quad exhaust tips for the GT and will include new paint colors, four spoilers, new stripe options and more wheel choices. This Mustang will be completely customizable for every customer, but it’s not just about the way it looks on the outside. Inside the 2018 Ford Mustang there’s a new customizable 12.0-inch digital instrument cluster with Track Apps, a heated leather steering wheel, and a revised interior trim.

Even though the V-6 engine is no longer available, it has been revised for more power and better fuel mileage. The 2.3-liter Ecoboost won’t necessarily receive any significant hardware changes, but with the introduction of a new 10-speed automatic transmission, Ford is returning the engine’s boost control systems for higher torque output and improved acceleration. Also, the 10-speed automatic will also be available with the V8, providing quicker shift times and better fuel economy.

The Ford Mustang is a beloved, classic car that is adored around the world and the 2018 Model is surely going to be a treat for Ford enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
