As the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas approaches, five Ford Transit customers are showcasing the capabilities of the van. Since its introduction, Ford Transit has reshaped the expectations of customers as it is now easier than ever to pick the van that better suits your business’ needs. Ford has recognized the need for companies to enjoy a cargo vehicle with a strong frame and foundation and available upgrades. Let’s take a look at some of Transit’s unlimited capabilities.

In South Boulder City, Nevada, the Vegas Off-Road Experience team (VORE) adapted Transit to meet their unique needs: an off-road high-end passenger vehicle that could fit several people comfortably to take to track events. To accomplish this, the VORE team outfitted Ford Transit with off-road tires and extended fender flares, which give the vehicle a rugged capabilities and appearance. For added comfort, this amazing Ford Transit also includes a large TV for external viewing, custom LED lighting, video gaming station, five LED flat screens, and touch-screen tablet controls.

Designed Travel Ford Transit

For long distance travelers, this Transit is a dream come true. Waldoch Crafts and 3dCarbon have put together the ultimate road trip vehicle by installing hard-wood floors and four reclining captain chairs in a long-wheelbase Transit. To top it off, Waldoch included additional features like 360-degree view camera, LED interior lighting, upgraded 20-in wheels and tires, side skirts with integrated trailer hitch, and 4K ultra high definition 50-in TV.

Formula Drift Ford Transit

The Formula Drift will serve as an actual track vehicle because of its spacious interior and engine reliability. For the 2015 Drift Series in California, this Ford Transit will be outfitted with a fully functional workspace, high-end communications system, TV, and LED lighting. Additionally, this Transit gets an upgraded performance suspension, exhaust system, and air intake system, to deal with the added stress of being in the track. Safety also plays an important part of the Formula Drift Transit, as it includes fire extinguishers and fire suits and helmet racks.
